“保护先行，构建美好植物世界：一带一路国家植物多样性和保护”Plant Diversity专刊正式发表

　　植物在全球贸易和文明交流中有着非常重要的作用。古老的丝绸之路促进了中国与世界各地间植物及其产品的交换，我国的茶叶由此走向世界成为全球三大饮品之一，而来自南亚和中亚的胡椒、亚麻、葡萄和石榴等在我国已是家喻户晓。2015年我国正式对外发布“一带一路”倡议（BRI），目前已经举办过两届“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛。无论是最早的倡议还是论坛公报，加强生物多样性保护成为“一带一路”国际合作的重要内容之一。尽管如此，目前我们依然缺乏“一带一路”国家生物多样性及其保护相关的信息和知识。为了促进区域间的合作和知识共享，在中国科学院国际合作局的资助下，中国科学院昆明植物研究所及中国科学院东南亚生物多样性研究中心于2018年9月9日至9月22日期间承办了“一带一路植物多样性与保护国际培训班”，并在此基础上组织和筹备2019年Plant Diversity专刊。该专刊包括七篇学术论文，关注三个主要的问题，即植物多样性调查，植物进化和保护，以及植物多样性的可持续利用；重点报道了植物多样性丰富但仍处于研究相对薄弱的区域，包括缅甸东北部和约旦的沙漠区，以及东非，喜马拉雅和中亚，旨在开启和促进“一带一路”国家植物多样性的调查、研究和保护。
